|
SAVING FORMAT
All images MUST be saved as RGB.
The only acceptable file formats are: jpg and gif.
As a general rule logos are best saved as GIF if they have a flat slab of color
and JPG if they have gradation of colors.
Your logo on your business card may not look exactly like the logo on this website.
This is because printing inks mix colors differently to how your computer screen mixes colors.
When you buy toner or ink for your color printer what you actually buy is
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. This is known as CMYK,
and these four inks are used to mix colors.
Computer screens however use Red, Green and Blue (as the primary colors) to
mix the rainbow spectrum of colors.
NOTE: files saved in CMYK will not display.
FILE DIMENSIONS
No larger than 400 pixels wide by 400 pixels high.
FILE SIZE
Photos/images should be saved at 72 - 96 dpi.
Try to keep the weight under 50k.
